HDPE board
Classification :
Product Description
Common Names: High Density Polyethylene Sheet
Material Pros: High Impact Resistance, Machinability, Moisture Resistance
Popular Applications: Machine Parts
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) sheets are moisture resistant, durable, and cost-effective creating a widely popular plastic in the manufacturing and food processing industry.
HDPE is a cost-effective solution for chemical handling, machine / manufacturing, and assembly line applications where it commonly replaces wood and metal. Its impact and moisture resistant qualities ensure that it will not warp, chip, or peel while remaining anti-microbial and easy to clean. Lining and parts fabricated with HDPE require less maintenance and are faster to replace than their metal counterparts. The material’s low coefficient of friction and abrasion resistance cause less damage to products and packaging.
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) sheets are extremely impact resistant, abrasion resistant and have a low coefficient of friction. The material is also moisture, stain and odor resistant and is FDA approved for use in the food processing industry (mainly for cutting boards). The durability of the material makes it ideal for a variety of applications such as water tanks, chute linings, bottle/cap production and many other industrial uses. Boron-containing PE provides radiation protection in nuclear facility applications.
